JULY 10th: River Refresh
GUEST INFORMATION

Trip length: 5 days, 4 nights  * July 10th through July 14th, 2026
Trip Price:
$2400.00 $800 Boater Support Special * $200 non-refundable deposit to reserve

Trip Location:  The adventure begins in Salmon, Idaho on July 9th, with an orientation meeting at the Stagecoach Inn the evening before the launch. The next morning (July 10th), travel by ground transportation 68 miles down the Salmon River to Corn Creek, where the road ends and the wilderness begins. USFS camping is available at Corn Creek on the night of the 9th as well. The river portion of our trip ends mid-day on July 14th, when we arrive at Carey Creek Boat Ramp. High or low water conditions may necessitate adapting the trip beginning and/or ending point. If alternate transportation is required (such as a flight out from the river corridor), additional costs will be the responsibility of the participant. This is NOT anticipated for this trip.

Beverages:  Yellow Jacket River Guides provides all the fresh water you can drink, available at all times.  In the morning, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and juice are served.  At lunch and in camp powdered drink mixes such as Gatorade and lemonade are available.  You are welcome to bring all of the additional beverages that you think you can drink.  Please bring beer in cans, rather than bottles. YJRG does not allow alcohol consumption during the day while boating.

Trip price includes: Raft support, fees and taxes, meals, guide and camp services. It does not include off-river transportation, pre or post trip meals and lodging, specialty beverages (liquor), or gratuities. Whitewater rafting is a service industry, and tips are a greatly appreciated way to thank your guides for exceptional care (10 to 20 percent of trip retail price is a good guideline.)

Cancellations and Refunds: Due to the limited space available on our Salmon River Adventures, all payments will be forfeited for cancellations made within 90 days of your launch. Prior to that time, cancellations will be assessed a 20% charge.  If YJRG cancels your trip due to "acts of god," including, but not limited to water, weather, fire, or other environmental conditions, no refunds will be issued.  YJRG strongly recommends the purchase of trip insurance.

Fishing: Yellow Jacket River Guides does not offer guided fishing or provide fishing equipment, however you will find great opportunities for the avid angler.  If you plan to fish, you’ll need to purchase an Idaho fishing license, which you’ll be required to carry with you at any time that you are fishing. Your license can be purchased in advance through http://fishandgame.idaho.gov/cms/licenses/

COMPLETING THE ROUND TRIP

In order accommodate different modes of travel, this Salmon River Adventure does not include off river transportation.  Over the course of our five day river trip, we will traverse the largest wilderness area in the lower 48 states.  In-state travel may seem a little confusing, but keep in mind, this is because so much of Idaho is protected, roadless land.  Consider your pre and post trip travel as an integral part of the adventure.  Whether you are flying or driving to our area, just give us a call and we’ll help you choose an affordable and convenient travel option.
