OVER THE INFLUENCE: Alcohol-free Women’s Rafting Trip
Trip length: 3 days, 2 nights * June 27th through June 29th, 2026
Trip Price: $1440.00 * 20% deposit to reserve
An un-intoxicating weekend for women to disconnect in order to connect. The beautiful Salmon River Wilderness is a perfect place for a weekend of fun and adventure - sans the booze. NOTE: there is a possibility to make this a co-ed trip…we want to hear from you about creating a nurturing and supportive recovery space.
Park + launch at Spring Bar Boat Launch and travel upriver by chartered jetboat to Buckskin Bills Historic Site to rendezvous with YJRG. Float downriver to end back at Spring Bar.
Trip Location: The adventure begins near Riggins, Idaho on the morning of June 27th when you’ll meet our chartered jetboat at Spring Bar Boat Launch. After a thrilling ride upstream into the heart of the Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness, we rendezvous with the Yellow Jacket Team. After a safety orientation, we head downriver for three days/2 nights of adventure. Our trip ends mid-day on June 29th, when we arrive back at Spring Bar. High or low water conditions may necessitate adapting the trip beginning and/or ending point.
Beverages: Yellow Jacket River Guides provides all the fresh water you can drink, available at all times. In the morning, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and juice are served. At lunch and in camp powdered drink mixes such as Gatorade and lemonade are available. You are welcome to bring all of the additional beverages that you think you can drink. Please bring beverages in cans or plastic, rather than bottles.
Trip price includes: Rafting and camping equipment, fees and taxes, meals, guide and camp services, and jetboat transportation back upriver. It does not include additional transportation, pre or post trip meals and lodging, specialty beverages, or gratuities. Whitewater rafting is a service industry, and tips are a greatly appreciated way to thank your guides for exceptional care. If you choose to tip, 10 to 20 percent of trip retail price is a good guideline. It is also customary to tip the jetboat pilot.
Cancellations and Refunds: Due to the limited space available on our Salmon River Adventures, all payments will be forfeited for cancellations made within 90 days of your launch. Prior to that time, cancellations will be assessed a 20% charge. If YJRG cancels your trip due to "acts of god," including, but not limited to water, weather, fire, or other environmental conditions, no refunds will be issued. YJRG strongly recommends the purchase of trip insurance.
Fishing: Yellow Jacket River Guides does not offer guided fishing or provide fishing equipment, however you will find great opportunities for the avid angler. If you plan to fish, you’ll need to purchase an Idaho fishing license, which you’ll be required to carry with you at any time that you are fishing.
