Feeling Weary or Just in Need of a Break? Join us for 5 days of sisterhood, relaxation, and well-being in the company of good-hearted and adventurous lady travelers on Idaho's wild Main Salmon. This fun and supportive trip is for any woman who needs to take a breath and unwind. Enjoy beautiful scenery, exciting rapids, wildlife, hiking opportunities...along with evening festivities around the campfire.

Blend the freedom and adventure of your own trip with the guidance + ease of a commercially outfitted experience. Bring your boat (or rent one of ours), your family + friends, and we provide the rest!
Our most common 3 options (based on 5 days, 4 nights with groups typically 16-24 in size) are:
ROW YOUR OWN $800/pp (your boat, your food, your trip with our support and guidance)
ROW YOUR OWN PLUS $1,200/pp (your boat, includes food, waste/toilet management, shuttle, jetboat, etc.)
FULL SERVICE $2,049/pp (full boat set up, food, waste/toilet management, shuttle, jetboat, etc.)

An un-intoxicating weekend for women to disconnect in order to connect. The beautiful Salmon River Wilderness is a perfect place for a weekend of fun and adventure - sans the booze.
Park + launch at Spring Bar Boat Launch and travel upriver by chartered jetboat to Buckskin Bills Historic Site to rendezvous with YJRG. Float downriver to end back at Spring Bar.
MASTER & COMMANDER: River Skills Exploration

Want to get more comfortable commanding your own boat, but with support? Put yourself in the captain’s chair. This is an empowering (and extra affordable) offering to hone your skills with the support of our professional, women guides. Bring your own boat (or rent one of ours) or your kayak, packraft or ducky. Not sure you’re quite ready? Ride along with a professional guide for some one on one learning opportunity.

Why Yellow Jacket River Guides?
These Wilderness Rafting trips provide an opportunity for women to unwind from our demanding routines, connect with each other, rediscover ourselves, and open to the deeper serenity of Nature. At YJRG, our aim is to serve the Greater Good by bringing together Women of Worth (hint: that’s all of us) and Wild Rivers.
What’s Included?
We provide all necessary equipment, meals, and guide services. You bring your toothbrush (optional), sunscreen (optional), clothing (mostly optional), and (not optional) willingness to show up for yourself and co-create a fun loving, thoughtful, inclusive, safe container for adventure, discovery, relaxation, and growth. Who is it For?
This trip is a fit for women who are willing to invest in themselves and each other with a compassionate, respectful, good humored intention, who want to connect with women of substance in the magic of the river. We may be silly and irreverent along the way, but in the end a river trip is more than a festive vacation, and more than a social media post.
We operate with a “potluck - come as you are” theme, which suggests we each bring a special ingredient to the table…maybe you are willing to lead the group in a yoga morning, and maybe someone else plays guitar. Maybe you have the best jokes or love to cook a certain meal. And maybe your unique contribution is yet to be revealed.
Our focus is on developing an intergenerational network of women who recognize the power of the river to strengthen, heal, and support each other as we move forward as leaders and luminaries in our communities, families, workplace, and world. This journey is an opportunity for women to unwind, reset, connect, and fortify ourselves for our continuing paths in modern society. YJRG’s women’s rafting program is the continuing expression of a vision we have been developing over several years of women's trips, with a goal of making this opportunity more accessible to a broader range of women with a "pay it forward" type model.
